Springfield, Mass. – May 1, 2018 – The National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) is excited to announce a new logo for the governing body of Division III women’s gymnastics.
The logo redesign was piloted in September of 2017, and went through three stages of critiques and feedback from the governing body’s executive committee, a focus group consisting of coaches, administrators and sports information directors within the NCGA, and the student-athletes that will be representing the NCGA’s new mark. All feedback and critiques for the logo were to keep the NCGA’s mission in mind, while also focusing on ideals provided by the Executive Director, Jen Miller-McEachern.
The mission of the NCGA is to provide the student-athlete an opportunity for post-season competition that will showcase the highest level of Division III (non-scholarship) gymnastics which encourages the development of discipline, determination and dedication; skills necessary in the pursuit of academic and career excellence.
